Slippy needs iron to fix his spaceracer. Ella tows him to a metal asteroid where Glitch is instructed to cut off a small piece. But when Ella distracts him, he accidentally cuts the asteroid into two large pieces! Ella feels responsible. Slippy heads off to a junk belt to find the needed iron. When the gang spot a rocket with iron parts, Glitch is cold welded to it. As he tries to get loose, he trips the engine and they take off at full speed. The gang catches him in time and manages to fix the broken asteroid too!

The year is 3021. The place is the Milky Way, where eight-year-old Ella gleefully heads out with her friends on exciting adventures of discovery. At only eight, she already knows quite a bit about space... but there is always more to explore!
