Ella and her friends play a star-riddle game that is a tradition in Slippy’s family. To beat Slippy’s cousins, they need to find some super-giant stars!  As they race around, Slippy becomes discouraged as Gem and I.Lo find the second of three super-giant stars.  Ella refuses to give up so easily and soldiers on to decipher the next riddle. When Slippy realizes that Ella is headed towards a star about to explode, he rushes to warn her.  Can they all get out of the way before the star goes supernova?

The year is 3021. The place is the Milky Way, where eight-year-old Ella gleefully heads out with her friends on exciting adventures of discovery. At only eight, she already knows quite a bit about space... but there is always more to explore!
