Fall Harvest Farm, in St. Agatha, ON, run by Rose and Josephine McCormick, has been farmed by six generations of Kittles. They produce pigs, goats, chickens, bees, and vegetables, and their store sells a variety of local produce and products. What they are best known for is their pumpkins, squash and gourds. Chef Nick Benninger bakes a Long Island cheese pumpkin in the fire then tops hot wedges with sautéed pumpkin seeds, and caramelized garlic and onions to accompany grilled sausage.
