Louis Maltais loves a challenge. At the age of 27, this former circus artist began his training to become the first man in Quebec to practice the profession of midwife. Over a period of four years, the film accompanies Louis on a real initiatory journey. Beyond the practice of midwifery, it tells a universal story: that of the profound transformation of an individual who, despite hardships, doubt and prejudice, is determined to live his passion.
