Audrey and Tommy show their classmate Maeva around the Shelter. But Maeva thinks all the animals are boring. To teach her a lesson, the kids invent a dangerous creature living at the Shelter: the Wadisdis! It’s soon obvious the Wadisdis doesn’t exist, but Maeva now believes Audrey and Tommy refuse to show it to her! And when the Shelter’s animals suddenly panic, the kids start to wonder: what if the Wadisdis was real?

Audrey’s Shelter follows 7-year-old Audrey, who lives at her family’s refuge for endangered species. She knows first-hand that caring for a menagerie of wild animals isn’t easy but is always worth it. It just takes a little empathy and a big sense of humour.
