Maeva claims she can tame Darius, a very shy Przewalski's horse not even Audrey can approach. And she succeeds! But everyone believes Audrey is the one who did it, including Charlie, the local reporter. Audrey’s flattered by the attention and takes credit for Maeva’s feat, but she soon starts to feel guilty. 

Audrey’s Shelter follows 7-year-old Audrey, who lives at her family’s refuge for endangered species. She knows first-hand that caring for a menagerie of wild animals isn’t easy but is always worth it. It just takes a little empathy and a big sense of humour.
