Audrey and Tommy are about to go on a school trip, but Audrey doesn’t want to leave Jack and the Shelter. When Jack gets sick with a cold, Audrey finds the perfect excuse to stay: Jack needs her... But as Jack recovers, she looks for other ways to skip the trip, and Tommy gets suspicious.

Audrey’s Shelter follows 7-year-old Audrey, who lives at her family’s refuge for endangered species. She knows first-hand that caring for a menagerie of wild animals isn’t easy but is always worth it. It just takes a little empathy and a big sense of humour.
