When Audrey's teacher, Mrs. Da Costa, comes to the Shelter to talk to her, Audrey is convinced that she’ll get punished. She and Tommy flee into the jungle to hide from their teacher, but Paco the kakapo follows them and keeps revealing their position. As this game of hide-and-seek goes on, Mrs. Da Costa gets more and more exasperated.

Audrey’s Shelter follows 7-year-old Audrey, who lives at her family’s refuge for endangered species. She knows first-hand that caring for a menagerie of wild animals isn’t easy but is always worth it. It just takes a little empathy and a big sense of humour.
