In Canada, since 2016 Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) has become a legal end-of-life option for those suffering from an incurable and deteriorating illness, disease or disability. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, father of five and renown physician Dr. Jay Keystone weighed his options and made the decision to end his life with the help of MAID. His two sons David and Kevin, along with the rest of the Keystone family, supported Dr. Keystone in his decision.
