With her mother losing her memory to dementia, food and wine expert Shiva Reddy travels to South Asian farms and homes in search of her roots. A four-part documentary series set in Western Canada that demystifies Indian food and culture. Once a competitive hockey player, Reddy became one of the first South Asian women in the world of wine and fine dining in Canada. In her search, Reddy meets with community leaders such as prominent CBC reporter Meera Bains, Research Scientist Dr. Harwinder Sidhu, former pro hockey player Dampy Brar, Punjabi-Cree artist Madeson Singh, Chef Aman Dosanj and the team at the family run Kalala Organic Winery.
