The St’at’imc and Tsilhqot’in First Nations fought each other for generations, but they came together in peace in 2003 to officially bury the hatchet, honour their ancestors, and work together to protect the land. Indigenous elders and resource people from both Nations share oral histories and what moving forward means for future generations. Filmed over 20 years in the remote wilderness of the sacred lands in the mountains. A permanent memorial marks this historic event.
