It is the day of the music showcase and live community event, and the Woke Studios team begins setting up the venue and equipment. Guests trickle into the venue and are met with Afro-diverse artisans and vendors, and a live DJ set by "Mo the Pro" as they eagerly await music performances by members of the Woke Studios music collective.
The show finally opens with solo performances by T. Chandy, followed by KAR33M and then Banggz. After their energy-filled solo performances, the Woke Studios team come together on stage to perform their big finale song, “Jazz You” leading the crowd into a dance frenzy - the perfect way to conclude months of preparation for the event.
With each performance providing a unique experience for the crowd, T. Chandy, KAR33M, and Banggz each describe the impact that Woke Studios has had on their careers, and how it ties in with one or all of the main pillars of Afrobeats.
