The prickly pine is the most dreaded tree in all of Fair Village: it eats kites, it has itchy pine needles, and it smells like old stinky socks! So, when Lonny decides to chop it down, everyone is happy – everyone that is, except for Penny who thinks that every tree has a purpose, even the itchy, sticky ones and they try to save the tree. But Penny won’t be able to do it all alone. With the help of a rousing protest song, Penny convinces the other Hoppers to team up and save the poor prickly pine.
HOP with his diverse group of friends encourages young children to embrace their individuality. Together they show us the powers of friendship and kindness as they navigate the mud puddles of life. Created by Marc Brown, creator of Arthur!
