Gloria, a young South Sudanese refugee, fled war and despair in Uganda and landed in a camp on the border with her mother. Worried about her generation, Gloria pursues her dream of a career as a lawyer, hoping to bring justice to her home country. Her story reflects the entire story of the Northern Uganda refugee movement.

But even when young girls gain sufficient education, the expectation of women in East Africa is stereotyped. Susan Grace Duku adopted several orphans and set up a business in the camp that allows women to feed their children, giving them self-confidence. Susan is the voice of hope for 1.1 million refugees in Uganda, a region that has been forgotten by the rest of the world.

The story of hope is thus abstracted from a personal dream, inspiring a vision of the future for the country. Hope has the potential to influence traditions, people and even governments to create sustainable peace and prosperity.
