Almost everyone who is dying expresses a fear and anxiety about death. One year after our initial visit with artist, teacher and mother of two Andrea Bird, we checked back in with her. Now, as part of 28 granted legal exemptions, Andrea has successfully received permission from Health Canada to use psilocybin, aka magic mushrooms. With the help of supervised mushroom and Ketamine therapy, Andrea is dealing with her end-of-life distress. Along with Dr. Sean O’Sullivan, she sheds some light on this new alternative therapy method that has been immensely successful in helping those with end stage anxiety.
